R. BROWNING STAFFORD. 

New Carlisle -- R. Browning Stafford, 81, of
203 W. Lake st., a retired farmer, died
Saturday evening [2/18/78] in Mercy Medical
Center where he had been a patient 17 days. 

Mr. Stafford was a member of the First
Presbyterian Church here and New Carlisle
Masonic Lodge 100. A native of New Carlisle,
he was born 10 Aug 1896, and was a son of
Milton and Julia Johnston Stafford. 

Surviving with his wife, the former Celestia
Funderburg, are two nieces [Anita, d/o
LAWRENCE; Phyllis, d/o Dean], and a number of
cousins.
